The "Game Of Thrones" tv series will reportedly have nothing on "The Winds Of Winter" once George R.R. Martin launches the sixth "A Song Of Ice And Fire" book. Despite "The Winds Of Winter" seemingly left in the dust by HBO's "Game Of Thrones" series, George R.R. Martin fans will reportedly be satisfied.
The Telegraph addresses outstanding concerns that co-executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have spoiled "The Winds Of Winter" with "Game Of Thrones" Season 5 and 6. George R.R. Martin had been famously overtaken by the "Game Of Thrones series in completing "The Winds Of Winter" as well as the final "A Song Of Ice And Fire" book, "A Dream Of Spring."
Despite delivery push back, George R.R. Martin remained on consultation capacity with David Benioff and D.B. Weiss to ascertain alignment between the "Game Of Thrones" tv series and "The Winds Of Winter" and, ultimately "A Dream Of Spring."
To be sure, the "Game Of Thrones" series will follow the main arcs of the remaining "A Song Of Ice And Fire" so that "The Winds Of Winter" and "A Dream Of Spring" will lead to the same epic ending as "GoT" tv.
The Telegraph points out that David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have been managing key characters such as the now deceased Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) in lieu of "The Winds Of Winter." Mostly (but not always) the "Game Of Thrones" producers strove to remain faithful to the vision George R.R. Martin has for them.
The Telegraph highlights that in all the books in "A Song Of Ice And Fire," as "The Winds Of Winter" and "A Dream Of Spring" will consistently show, George R.R. Martin lay out a complex lore of people, events, culture, beliefs, values and countries. In contrast, the "Game Of Thrones" tv series condenses the tale in an express version of sorts suited for the medium.
Long after HBO concludes "Game Of Thrones," George R.R. Martin fans will be able to read and re-read the tales of all the people and places in his "A Song Of Ice And Fire" saga as they should be known and remembered. Lengthy wait notwithstanding every page of "The Winds Of Winter" and "A Dream Of Spring" should erase all the dissatisfaction that "Game Of Thrones" can bring.
A separate Parent Herald article reports that the wait may end for "The Winds Of Winter" by early 2017 perfectly slating a launch for the sixth "A Song Of Ice And Fire" book launch just before the "Game Of Thrones" Season 7 premiere. Translation services are reportedly being lined up for George R.R. Martin according to a 2016 year-end completion schedule of "The Winds Of Winter."
