"Grimm" Season 6 has been led a certain path by events surrounding Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) in S5 and this path may mean a tragic end for Adalind Schade (Claire Coffee). While the triangle of Nick Burkhardt, Adalind Schade and Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch) had been getting center stage since S5 finale, news says Diana (Hannah R. Loyd) will be a major player in "Grimm" Season 6.
"Grimm" Season 5 opened the door to what fans feared about Eve, Juliette Silverton, all along. The Hadrian Wall-trained Eve will disappear and Juliette Silverton is now close to pining after Grimm, Nick Burkhardt.
This development had been foreshadowed by a conversation in "Grimm" Season 5 Episode 20, "Bad Night" between Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) and Eve. After Adalind Schade agreed to Sean Renard's charade to regain Diana, Eve told Trubel she avoids thinking like Juliette Silverton because it is too dangerous.
Now that the mystery stick has done its work, the "Grimm" series sees Juliette Silverton in control of her Hexenbiest side. TV Insider reports that David Giuntoli teased how "Grimm" Season 6 will see Nick Burkhard compartmentalizing wrongs between Juliette Silverton as herself and his ex-fiancee as a Hexenbiest.
David Giuntoli also hinted at Adalind Schade seeing martyrdom in her future for the sake of her children Diana and Kelly. "Her maternal concerns are everything, and they would trump anything she might do to protect Nick," David Giuntoli said of Adalind Schade.
TVLine reports that executive producers James Kouf and David Greenwalt spoke of Diana and her powers being significant in the "Grimm" series. As it is, David Greenwalt promises that "Grimm" Season 6 will explore Diana as a formidable character.
Whether this is for good or evil, "Grimm" Season 6 will tell. Cater Matt cites Bitsie Tulloch in the announcement that Nick Burkhardt, Julie Silverton, Adalind Schade, Diana will reunite with the rest of the gang for "Grimm" Season 6 on NBC on October 28.
