Make no mistake. Winter is coming in "Game of Thrones" Season 6.
The last episode of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 showed the bloody encounter between the bastards- Ramsay Bolton and Jon Snow - where the latter's army defeated the former's, and where Lady Sansa exacted her revenge on the 'mad dog'. The "Battle of the Bastards" became a major hit, setting the highest-scored TV episode ever on IMDB according to a report on Games Radar.
But do you know that there is actually a certain formula to this much-loved TV series? "Game of Thrones" penultimate episode of the season is likely to be a big clash.
Last season episode of "Game of Thrones," entitled Hardhome, features Jon Snow battling against the White Walkers.
Though less surprising, but every season finale of "Game of Thrones" tends does not involve big budget: the "death" of Jon Snow in the finale of "Game of Thrones" Season 5; Queen Cersei's walk of shame; and the Khaleesi flying off on the back of Drogon. No doubt these are major events, but are hardly epic compared to the war against the White Walkers and the undead army.
Another big Jon Snow-led battle was the battle against the Wildlings at the Wall in "Game of Thrones" Season 4 Episode 9. On the other hand, the finale falls out from the rest of the season with Bran finally arriving beyond the Wall at his destination as cited on Forbes.
The gruesome death of Prince Oberyn Martell, "The Red Viper", was shown in Episode 8; while "Game of Thrones" Season 3 Episode 9 showed the infamous Red Wedding. Without looking, one could hardly remember what the final episode was all about.
Here's the catch: What about "Game of Thrones" Season 6 final episode? Nothing really so dramatic like Snow's death will happen; unless of course the Khaleesi will die which would be partly unexpected and amazing. Amazing if the Lord of Light revives her like what he did to Snow.
One seriously dramatic event, at the very least, is about to take place in King's Landing. Other major pieces will start to fall into place as well. The stories of Daenerys and Arya, who have pined away too long abroad, will finally begin.
But in all cases, here are the 5 major predictions for "Game of Thrones" Season 6 final episode:
Varys finally arrives in Dorne; Littlefinger makes his big power play in the North; the White Walkers shows up at the Wall; Arya comes out of the shadows, appearing in Westeros for the first time; and Queen Cersei burns King's Landing to the ground. How about that? It is also likely to happen that the Khaleesi will set off for Westeros, running into some new battle. The end is near in tonight's "Game of Thrones" Season 6 finale.
