As Neurogagdget reported, a surge in MacBook Pro 2015 discounts have been recently noted, spurring speculations that retailers might be clearing out their old stocks to make way for the new computers. According to the publication, the 12-inch MacBook now retails at $350 less than its original price, while the 13 and 15-inch will have discounts ranging from $100 to $250.

The Cupertino-based tech giant has yet to confirm nor deny any MacBook 2016 release date rumors, but tech junkies are almost certain that its launch is drawing near.

As to what users can expect with the new MacBook 2016, Forbes noted some noteworthy improvements on the Apple computer. This includes the OLED touch bar, USB-C, Thunderbolt 3 and 5k Apple display.

The publication added that the highly anticipated high-performance laptop could be thinner and lighter as well, with the OLED touch bar reportedly replacing the function keys.

But perhaps one of the more exciting improvements teased is the MacBook 2016's compatibility with an Apple display. The site noted that should the new MacBook have a 5K Apple display with an integrated GPU, more users will most likely be compelled to buy the new Apple product.
