Comic Con 2016 is only weeks away and it looks like the annual fan event of the summer, which brings pop culture fans and stars together in San Diego, is going to be huge this year. With the superhero universe -- in both film and TV -- becoming a trend in Hollywood, Comic Con 2016 is expected to be totally out of this world.
What can the event's participants expect when it comes to the Comic Con television panels? Below is a rundown of the shows coming to the July fan event.
Comic Con 2016 July 20
Warner Bros Studios will be the first to make its Comic Con 2016 presentation of its latest TV shows to the fans. It will hold its preview night on July 20, with the screening of the pilot episode of "Riverdale," "Powerless," "Frequency," "People of Earth" and "Time After Time" at Ballroom 20, per Nerdist.
Comic Con 2016 July 21
The following day will see old shows like "Silicon Valley" and "The Strain" in the panel in the afternoons. New shows like "Van Helsing" and "The Rocky Horror Picture" show will also be presenting on this date. The morning schedule is reserved for presentations of the animations "Teen Titans Go!" and "Justin League Action," per The Hollywood Reporter.
Comic Con 2016 July 22
The highest-rated comedy show today, "The Big Bang Theory," will be opening the day's event with the panel starting at 10:00 a.m. Other shows expected to make its presentation are "Bones," "The 100," "iZombie," "Vikings," "Scream Queens" and "Game Of Thrones." Per IGN, Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Kristian Nairn (Hodor) and John Bradley (Samwell Tarly) are expected to be in the panel of "GoT."
Comic Con 2016 July 23
Saturday's event will feature "The Vampire Diaries," "Blindspot," "Lucifer," "The Originals," "Gotham," and The CW's big four superhero shows, "Arrow," "The Flash," "Legends of Tomorrow" and "Supergirl." Upcoming new TV shows like "Son of Zorn," "Vice Principals," "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency," and the Warner Bros slate featured on July 20, will be holding its panels as well.
Comic Con 2016 July 24
Fox's "Prison Break" reboot and "24: Legacy" will present during the final day of Comic Con, along with "Supernatural." Expect all of these shows to have teasers and other tidbits about what's up for the U.S. TV slate, which usually starts in the fall.
