'The Blacklist' Season 4 Premiere Spoilers: Liz Nothing But a Bait?

New "The Blacklist" season 4 premiere spoilers are hinting that a lot of questions will be answered about Liz's father in the upcoming run.

As fans already know, Liz met her real father in the previous season. Ulrich Thomsen who plays the mysterious Alexander Kirk was introduced in the season finale. Although he claims to be Liz's father, questions about his real motive remains unanswered. Fortunately, "The Blacklist" season 4 premiere spoilers are hinting that a lot of uncertainties about Alexander will be addressed next season.

As actress Megan Boone recently told Entertainment Weekly, even her character, Liz, doesn't trust Alexander despite him being her father.

“Oh no, I don’t think she trusts this guy," she said. "He took away her family and possibly the anonymity she tried to gain by faking her death."

“The Blacklist” executive producer Jon Bokenkamp on the other hand revealed that Alexander will definitely send fans to the edge. "I don’t know why we wouldn’t believe him," he told EW. "Red’s said before that he’s not Liz’s father. This man shows up in her life and says he’s her father. Liz should take him at his word. She thought she shot her father."

“What I do promise is that Alexander Kirk and his relationship to Liz will ultimately give us a far deeper understanding of Red’s relationship to Liz in season 4,” he continued.

Meanwhile, other "The Blacklist" season 4 premiere spoilers are suggesting that Alexander might just be using Liz to get to Red. As Hall of Fame Magazine suggested, it looks like Alexander has bad blood with the series' main protagonist.

"The Blacklist" season 4 premieres on September 22, 2016.
