Mom-to-be Marisa Miller, preparing to welcome a baby boy this month, flaunted her big baby bump in front of the camera by posing nude for Allure magazine recently.
During a chat with the magazine, she talked about her pregnancy experiences.
"I always felt, even before I got pregnant, that it's better to accentuate your curves," said the 34-year-old former Victoria's Secret Angel, explaining the reasons behind flaunting her baby bump. "It's important to really show off the belly. For some reason, for me, from the side, it looks the biggest, so that's what I tried to do."
Miller, who used to run a surf school in California before her modeling career, also opened up about the changes pregnancy brought in her life.
"I'd heard that swimming feels so good when you're pregnant, and I love being in the ocean. I was even paddle boarding up until 17 weeks, but then my center of gravity and balance were completely off," she told Allure. "I looked so funny standing up on the board with all that extra weight in front. I did Pilates five times a week during my second trimester, but it's so modified now, mostly stretching and breathing. It's easy to feel swollen and puffy, and moving really helps with the circulation."
Miller, who started modeling at the age of 16, received wide attention after her appearance in the first issue of the magazine Perfect 10 in 1997. She rose to fame after working as a Victoria's Secret agent. She has appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues from 2002 to 2008.
Miller's first marriage was to Jim Miller, a Los Angeles surfing contest promoter and lifeguard from California. The couple separated in 2002. In 2006, she tied the knot with music producer Griffin Guess. This is Miller's first child with Guess.
