A new "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailer was released by the Pokemon Company just recently, as part of its 20th anniversary for the game franchise. In the official Pokemon YouTube channel, the trailer showcases the seven new Pokemon at their best.
The trailer also debuts Zygarde in perfect form in the latest "Pokemon Sun and Moon" snippet. Meanwhile, fans can get better acquainted with the critters in these namesakes, such as Tapukoko, Charjabug, Vikavolt, Drampa, Bruxish, Cutifly, and Togedemaru, according to Games Radar.
YouTube channel GameXplain also shared more insight into the abilities and category type for the brand new Pokemon, as seen in their "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailer analysis. It contains cool highlights for each new Pokemon.
Meet the 7 new Pokemon for "Pokemon Sun and Moon"
Tapu Koko's name means "sacred rooster"( dual electric/fairy)
Charjabug as a Grubben evolution (bug/electric type), which evolves into Vikavolt a zapping, bug/electric Pokemon.
Another one, called Drampa, a normal/dragon type is also seen with a new ability called Frenzy. The narrator also went on to describe Drampa's power which can be triggered in three ways. However, this new pokemon can also inflict harm to its opponent with its purplish dragon breath.
Next featured is Pokemon Bruxish, who is believed to be inspired by the Reef Triggerfish of the Hawaii state. Although not well-liked among the pokemons, its new ability called Dazzle (owing to it being a water/psychic type) can be seen in the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailer in battle mode against Kangaskhan.
Cutiefly is another bug/fairy type Pokemon that has the power called Fairy Wind. It is also described as similar to an early game Pokemon.
Last but not least, there's Togedemaru, which looks a little bit like Pikachu in form and lightning rod ability. What's different with Togedemaru from Pikachu is that its electrifying ability is called Discharge, while that of Pikachu is named Thunderbolt.
So, there you have it - all of the seven new pokemons, as introduced in the leaked "Pokemon Sun and Moon" trailer. Anime News Network also confirms that the games would be released in North America and Japan on November 18, and in Europe by November 23rd.
