Microsoft now lets game enthusiasts take some of the company's known games for PC update or one-time purchase. With Xbox Play Anywhere launching confirmed a few months from now, gaming enthusiasts surely have something to look forward to.
It easy to recall Microsoft unveiling the Xbox Play Anywhere plan during the E3 conference a month ago, according to The Verge. The idea of an open crossover platform for included games lets users get it for a single fee and play all on Windows 10 PCs s well as on Xbox One.
The latest option for Xbox Play Anywhere will need users to complete a Windows 10 update for pcs, while it would be a summer Xbox One upgrade for the gaming console. Also, users would notice a Play Anywhere strip for games featured in the Xbox Store. This would ensure smooth operability and support for the said scheme.
In the meantime, Microsoft has already released a number of supported titles for Xbox Play Anywhere on their website. While Xbox Play Anywhere only accommodates digital games, there's no extra cost for the program after purchase of an Xbox Play Anywhere pre-approved game.
Players are also able to sign into a game on a Windows 10 PC and Xbox One game console just once in a given time, and not simultaneously. The nice thing though, is that players can continue where they left off in terms of saved game progress. This allows users to review on all saves made, add-ons, or any achievements when play is continued.
Xbox Play Anywhere will also show single shared sets of Achievements as well as Gamerscore awarded or earned. Mystic-themed Scalebound, Gears of War 4, ReCore, Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves, Killer Instinct, We Happy Few, and Cuphead are among other Xbox Play Anywhere games included during its unveiling on September 13th.
