"Game of Thrones" is one of the most popular HBO TV series. According to reports, the fictional-drama TV series is down to two seasons. Have you imagined how the series will end? Well, Lena Headey, shares some of her thoughts in the next "Game of Thrones" episode.
Lena Headey Thinks Cersei's Reign Will Be Short-Lived
Lena Headey is one of the major characters in "Game of Thrones." She gives life to the fierce and over-protective queen, Cersei Lannister. The actress has read one of George RR Martin's free chapters for "The Winds of Winter" where she admitted that it gives her "goosebumps."
"I got goosebumps reading, 'The ships are coming,'" Headey told Entertainment Weekly. "They keep teasing us every season and I don't know what's going to happen because nobody tells you anything. I have to assume there's going to be one helluva battle. Who knows? It's such a mystery."
When asked if her character in "Game of Thrones" will be able to hold the throne longer, Headey thinks otherwise. "Surely not!" Headey said pertaining to Cersei's reign. "Not a chance in hell. It's a moment of punctuation in the madness."
Cersei Lannister To Die In Whose Hands?
According to Independent, there are big chances that Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clark) will end Cersei's reign because she is heading to Westeros. However, for Lena Headey, it would be perfect for her character to die at either Arya (Maise Williams) or Tyrion's (Peter Dinklage) hands. The "Game of Thrones" actress stressed that she's not concerned with how her character will die "as long as it's kinda glorious and glory."
Headey also admitted that she wants Tyrion and Cersei to reunite. "Those two characters are so interesting because there's so much hate, yet slight respect too. They'd kill each other if ever given the chance," she said of the two "Game of Thrones" characters.
