The late girlfriend of Jim Carrey, Cathriona White, took her own life in September of last year and now months after she was found dead insider her home, it has been revealed that she left a suicide note apologizing to the actor.
E! News reported that, the 28-year-old left a suicide note for the actor in which she apologized for taking her life adding that she is not for this world. Before White killed herself, she and Carrey have been on a rough part of their relationship as they have been on and off. They have been dating for three years and split before her death.
Another part of the suicide note reads: "I've spent 3 days now in disbelief that you're not here. I can go on brokenhearted and try to put the pieces back. I could, I just don't have the will this time. I'm sorry you felt I wasn't there for you. I tried to give you my best part." She added that she does not know much about burials so whatever Carrey chooses, since she considers him her family, it would be okay for her.
The first letter was said to have the word "Dewdrop" and was sealed in an envelope. Another letter was found and the word "Jim" was written. Accordingly, the second letter said that Carrey should ask his people to sell her belongings and give the money to her family.
Other reports say that a day before her body was found in her Los Angeles home, she sent a text message to Carrey asking where his painkillers are. She also took to Twitter to say, "Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest." The prescription drugs found inside the home of White were Ambien, Prerocet, and Propranolol. The official cause of death says that she died from multiple drug effects and discovered propranolol, zolpidem, oxycodone, and oxymorphone in her system.
The actor carried the coffin of White at her funeral in the village of Cappawhite, Co Tipperary last October. She was laid to rest beside her father.
Carrey also released a statement back then saying that he is shocked and saddened by her passing. He referred to her as a truly kind and delicate Irish flower.
