"Batman V Superman: The Dawn of Justice" fans will have to hold their breathes a little longer for the film's trailer. The expected teaser was not released once again and DC fans are still eagerly waiting.
Since Warner Brothers announced the production of "Batman vs. Superman: the Dawn of Justice," DC comic fans have been waiting for a trailer of the movie to come out. Zack Snyder, however, seems determined to make fans wait a little longer.
Movie Pilot says that a trailer forthe movie was expected to be attached to Wachowski's sci-fi movie, "Jupiter Ascending", starring Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis. However, during "Jupiter Ascending's" premiere, no trailer was shown for "Batman vs. Superman".
According to Master Herald, rumors of a trailer release for "Batman vs. Superman," started in early January. People thought a trailer would come out for the movie during Super Bowl 2015 on February 1, but nothing came out.
There are no more opportunities for Warner Brothers to release a teaser trailer for "Batman vs. Superman" this March or April, notes Master Herald. The report added that next opportunities to release a trailer for the eagerly awaiting fans would probably be in the month of May.
Two movies will premiere in May that will allow Warner Brothers to release a trailer for "Batman vs. Superman." One of the opportunites is on May 1, 2015, when the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will be shown in theaters. Another is on May 15, 2015, the release date for "Mad Max: Fury Road."
"Batman V Superman: The Dawn of Justice," will define the DC universe, says Franchise Herald. The movie will introduce new characters for the Justice League movies in 2017 and 2019.
Franchise Herald reports some of the characters that will appear in "Batman vs. Superman." Gal Gadot from "Fast and Furious" is expected to appear as Wonder Woman, while Jason Momoa from "Game of Thrones" may appear as Aquaman.
Some other member of the cast include: Jesse Eisenber as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Diane Lane as Martha Kent. Amy Adams who was in the last Superman movie, starring Henry Cavill will be reprising her role as Lois Lane.
As for main characters, Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman. Batman, on the other hand, has a new face, Ben Affleck. IMDB states that the "Batman vs. Superman" movie will come premiere on March 25, 2016.
