South China Dispute News: Brawls Will Rise; Powerplay At Work For UN, US, Philippines, China & The World; What Can The World Expect From The Hague?

The world is watching the impending release of the ruling by the International Tribunal regarding the issues surrounding the South China Sea and the nations involved with it. Many are presuming that power, retaliation and issues would impact the world particularly the UN body, the United States, the Philippines and even China and the rest of the world.

According to the previous report from The National Interest, the verdict in Hague will determine and shape the direction of the countries affected, particularly the Philippines and China. Many are wondering on whether both nations would finally achieve the same agreement or war will sprout.

However, looking back, China has been vigilant in rendering their stand against the case filed against them and known to many, China has already rendered that it would not respect the International Tribunal and the decision regardless of the nations call for China to adhere.

More reports from CNBC, Beijing is also watching the unfolding of the decision from The Hague, given the notion that the decision is promising to convey the realities of politics and how it could be one of the most significant geopolitical events in years, as experts believed it to be.

The rows that have already begun between two nations sparked way back in 2012. The complaint set forth by the Philippines based on the decision of China to exert its rights on all of the South China Sea. Given the facts, the region is being shared by eight countries and the sea itself is a crossroad for half of the world's daily merchant shipping and other shipping activities.

It is inevitable that both countries would exert their claims and it is just a matter of hours before the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, Netherlands renders in verdict on the rift that has caused tensions and alarms between China and the Philippines.
