"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" took an emotional turn today. Teresa Giudice returned home and it was an emotional moment for all!
The episode featured the whole family getting ready to greet and welcome Teresa who included her brother and sister-in-law. Teresa also sent notes to Melissa and returning cast member Jacqueline Laurita from prison. There were new cast members in the show- Siggy Flicker and Dolores Catania.
It would be right to say that almost everyone shed a tear as Teresa, who spent a year in federal prison, returned home in "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." There were cameras around and it captured the sea of emotions that the family was going through.
Teresa was in prison on fraud charges and her family: husband Joe Giudice and daughters Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana were waiting to welcome her back home. This episode of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" turned out to be a tear-jerker for the entire family as well as the viewers.
How did Teresa feel while watching this episode of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey?"
"Watching this episode wasn't easy. It made me cry. Seeing Joe and my daughters waiting for me while I drove home with [attorney] Jim brought back a lot of tough memories," she wrote in her blog. "It was surreal to watch. I had waited for that moment for 11 and a half months and felt like it was a dream. I still do.
Teresa also told that she broke down when she saw her husband and daughters hug and kiss her after she walked in. It was indeed a very emotional moment for them. Teresa also expressed relief on being back home with her family after the long wait.
Teresa's stance on her brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga also improved as they prepared for the holidays. They were also making all the necessary preparations to welcome Teresa back.
"It also made me emotional to see how excited Joey and Melissa were for me to come home," she wrote. "Things with them are better than ever, I have to say, which makes me so happy. I feel like things are back to the way they were with them, thank God."
