‘Mr. Robot’ Season 2: Twists, Turns, Darkness And Lots Of Surprises!

"Mr. Robot" Season 2 is about to premier. Expectations, predictions and storyline twits are discussed and talked about. So, what can we expect from this season?

There are reports that we should not expect the next season to open where the first season left off. Season 2 of "Mr. Robot" actually opens a few weeks later and there is a spotlight on the character Darlene.

The fsociety thread is left loose. Fsociety is the hacker group fronted by "Mr. Robot," played by Christian Slater. This society is a figment of Elliot's, portrayed by Rami Malek's, imagination. They were attempting another big hack and things getting in their way.

Carly Chaikin, who portrays Darlene, said the story picks up a few weeks after "Mr. Robot" season one finale events with a spotlight on Darlene.

"I would say you are going to be immersed in each and every one of these characters' story this year" Malek said. He promised that the storyline is so interesting that he was at loss of words to actually explain how it feels. "Mr. Robot" S2 offers so much in every scene that the viewers will be glued and can't peel their eyes off. He added that no one would want to take their eyes off even for a moment.

There is also a lot of information that is thrown your way. "I will say that, but so much of it is done in an entertaining way that moves the show forward at a furious pace, one that takes everyone down to some really dark places," he added.

Portia Doubleday warned the viewers to not even try to predict anything at all! The cast of "Mr. Robot" season 2 had to assemble to read the last four scripts of the season in a warehouse. "It was crazy," she said.

Carly Chaikin, who portrays Darlene on "Mr. Robot" confessed that the stars of the show are equally excited about the next season. "After season one we were all kind of like, 'OK, where do we go from here?'," she said. She affirmed that the show had already set its bars so high in the first season and that the second season will match or even exceed the standards.

"Mr. Robot" season two will premiere on Wednesday, July 13 at 10 p.m. in USA, reported E! News.
