Ever since the digital technology had taken over the center stage, a lot of personal gizmos came up like cell phones with cameras. This piece of gadget becomes handy, especially in taking self portraits now more popularly known today as "selfies". This is actually quite addicting and in most cases, teenagers are the ones who are crazy in exploring the idea. Sad to say for some parents they don't see this healthy.
Just like Chris "Burr" Martin one dad from the US. He's not really happy about his teenage girl taking selfies. He felt that she's exposing herself too much and posting it in on Facebook and Instagram. Instead of telling her to stop in which he knows won't do any good, he decided to take his own "selfies" duplicating his daughter's self portrait and posts it on his Instagram account. He said on his Instagram, "So my daughter has been posting sexy selfies of herself and instead of telling her to stop, well, I thought of something better."
He's a totally funny guy heckling his daughter big time. With the world full of teens who want to take their own lives because of depression, they need a father who can protect and love them. But here is one who instead ridicules them. Is this exactly what they're looking for? What a peculiar style of fatherhood. Mr. Martin has only two choices whether to tell her daughter to refrain from taking selfies or to completely embarrass her to obey him.
In today's world and age, young women are bound to expose themselves to showcase their beauty. And this may put them to fame and fortune. On the other hand, parents are more likely the ones who push their teenagers to take selfies and post it to social media.
Chris seems to enjoy his selfies. He's also duplicating his son's self portrait, not thinking about giving a dose of his own medicine unlike his daughter. Her response seeing her dad imitating her duck face "My father harasses me on social media. "Surprisingly, Chris, daughter Cassie seems to favor his dad "My dad is a huge comedian in the family so when he did the pictures it was a huge laugh." She told US Magazine.
