Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott is pregnant. This is the first child for the 26-year-old singer/songwriter with husband and drummer Chris Tyrrell.
Scott announced her pregnancy news on Twitter, Friday, Dec.7.
"Chris & I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY! We feel so blessed!!!" the mom-to-be wrote, while sharing the news with her 58,309 followers.
"Arrived in Vegas, & so overwhelmed by the outpouring of love about our news! Now some shut eye...this growing a baby thing makes ya sleepy!" she added later.
Fans and well-wishers of the singer welcomed the news: "first Lady A baby! Oooooh I am SO excited and happy for you and Chris! You're gonna be an ANGEL mom! GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY ❤" one of the comments said.
Scott met Tyrrell, lead drummer of band "Love and Theft", during Tim McGraw's Southern Voice tour in 2010. Lady Antebellum's song "Just a Kiss" revolves around Scott's relationship with Tyrrell. The couple, who started dating in July 2010, tied the knot in January 2012.
"Everything is brighter. Everything has a deeper meaning. He makes me feel more comfortable in my own skin," Daily Mail quoted Scott talking about Tyrrell, after their marriage.
In 2011, Tyrrell started working for Lady Antebellum's band. Apart from Scott, "Lady Antebellum" based in Nashville, Tennessee, consists of Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood.
