The Air Jordan Dub Zero "Laser" is due to come out in the next couple days, reports Nike. The shoe is part of the Air Jordan Retro Laser collection, which is meant to commemorate the brand's 30th anniversary, states Sneaker Bar Detroit.
The basketball shoes will release this Saturday, February 28, for $185, says Nike. Sneaker Bar Detroit reports that it will be available in all Jordan Brand retailers as well as Wish ATL. It will also be available in all Nike brand accounts, adds Kicks on Fire.
E-bay is another place to buy the shoe, according to Sneaker News. Jordan_brand23 starts a bidding for the shoe at $175. However, most prices on the site range from $185 to upwards of $200. These prices may or may not include shipping.
The Air Dub Zero "Laser" has a pristine white leather base, reports Kicks on Fire. Meanwhile, the rear of the sneaker features an intricate woven leather detail. It also has metallic-silver and wolf-grey accents.
Sneaker News describes the shoe as having a woven heel and a chrome bumper. The report adds that the sneaker has a full length translucent outsole and a laser printed upper.
The shoe is part of the Laser collection, which includes the Air Jordan I, IV, and XX. All the shoes released in the bundle have laser prints on them inspired by Michael Jordan's tales and memories, states Sneaker News. All the shoes in the pack "pay homage to classic shoe silhouettes". The report adds that the sneakers included in the pack have matching icy outsoles and reflective details.
Kicks on Fire states that the Dub Zero sticks to the theme of the Laser collection. However, it does have some features of its very own. According to Sneaker News, the original sneaker is a hybrid one. It combined the features of ten signature Jordan shoes from the Jumpman catalog ten years ago.
The current Dub Zero "Laser" is no different from its predecessor. According to Kicks On Fire the pull tab of the shoe seems to be inspired by the Air Jordan 6. While, the upper part of the sneaker looks similar to the Air Jordan 13, observes Sneaker News.
According to Sole Collector, the shoes first came out in 2005. It originally featured a patent leather design. The sneaker was released a second time in 2009 featuring an embroidered logo, states Realty Today.
