Glassdoor, a jobs and recruiting marketplace, has compiled 11 jobs where employees surprisingly earn $100,000 or more every year. Check them out below.

1. Special Agent

Median base salary: $121,000

A special agent title is applicable for a detective or investigator that works for a state, country, federal government, and private companies. Special agents have arrest authority, possess background or military experience, and propose strategies to prevent future crimes.

2. Nurse Practitioner

Nurse practitioners perform physical exams, gather patients' health history, administer medications, and treat wounds, among others, the American Nurses Association listed. They also educate patients about different health problems.

3. Dentist
