New mom Megan Fox is overwhelmed with her new role as a mother and is enjoying time with 2-month-old son Noah.
Fox and husband Brian Austin Green welcomed their first son Noah Shannon in September. The 26-year-old actress opened up about motherhood and her infant son with E! News recently.
"The whole thing has been overwhelming because I didn't realize you could love something so much, and I know people always say that but I love him so much it hurts, and it's an interesting feeling to have because I never felt that before," Fox told E!News. "But, he's getting to that place where he's smiling and he's almost ready to laugh, and I can't wait for that baby laugh that almost makes you feel like you can fly...like your heart's going to explode."
However, apart from the charm involved in motherhood, the actress is also going through one of the most difficult times in her life.
"Having an infant is difficult. It's a lot of work and I didn't hire any help because I overestimated my own abilities. I had no idea how difficult babies could be, so Brian and I were exhausted. You never sleep and you're awake all night and your entire life is devoted to this little thing that needs you constantly," Fox told Mirror. "Two weeks ago I said to Brian, 'We have to get a night nurse or we're going to get a divorce because somebody's got to sleep in this house or we're going to kill each other'."
Fox began dating actor Green after meeting him first on the sets of "Hope & Faith". The couple got engaged in 2006, had a short split in 2009, but got engaged again in 2010. The couple tied the knot in the same year.
Speculation about Fox's pregnancy first hit the Internet in March. However, the couple kept mum on the subject until the end. The couple, very particular about their privacy, also kept son's birth a secret for almost a month before breaking the news through their Facebook account in October.
Green has a son, Kassius Lijah, from his previous relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil.
