Kim Kardashian Leaves Baby North Behind During Paparazzi Swarm [Video]

"Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star, Kim Kardashian, and daughter North, were enjoying a day out in New York City. At least, not until the paparazzi surrounded them!

Hollywood Life reported that Kardashian and her little girl were walking along a hallway in the Big Apple when a bunch of photographers swarmed the windows of their path. Kanye West's wife did not notice her toddler daughter posing for the media. Because of that Kardashian walked past the paparazzi. Little did she know that her daughter was mesmerized by the media taking her pictures. Kardashian walked a couple steps along the hallway, leaving North behind.

While North was having her pictures taken, though, a family bodyguard looked out after the toddler away from her mother's eyesight. Kardashian soon realized the she accidentally left her daughter behind. Once she did, she quickly went over to the toddler and got her.

This was not the first time Kardashian and her daughter lost each other while out in public. Kardashian reportedly left her daughter accidentally in a Paris hotel last year, as reported in Sugarscape. Mrs. West took to social media at the time to defend herself against critics who raised questions about her parenting skills.

The New York paparazzi and Paris hotel incidents are just among the many documented events in the Kardashian parenting drama.

Kris Jenner's daughter's parenting skills have come under close scrutiny recently. In fact a Mirror UK article reported that the 34-year-old beauty has come under fire for making little North wear a pearl necklace in bed. Kardashian took a selfie photo of North wearing that necklace. North's mother posted the said photo on Instagram.

Alison Edwards, a Birmingham City University midwifery expert, noted that Kardashian was being an irresponsible mother. Edwards remarked that the reality star treated her daughter like an "accessory baby."

In the same article from The Mirror, Edwards reportedly had these opinions about the situation:

"Babies have suffered injury and even fatalities due to inappropriate exposure to harmful items that they've been wearing or dressed in."

"I've known of babies who have lost fingers after getting them entwined in threads from their clothes and there is clearly a high possibility of this happening with a pearl necklace. Not only that, a child could swallow and choke on elements of jewellery items," Edwards added.

"Kim needs reminding that young babies aren't born with a gag reflex so her daughter wouldn't cough if she swallowed something harmful. Why else do we have health warning on toys?"
