ABC hit fantasy series "Once Upon A Time" is going back to tv screens in a couple of months, yet fans are already setting sights on speculations that another power couple would be added into the mix. "Once Upon A Time" Season 6 showrunners have also recently announced that the show is going to ramp up key players during its comeback.
The season 5 finale for "Once Upon A Time" gave a glimpse into the fate of Regina, who used magic on herself to separate from an evil alter ego, but with unlikely effects, in an iDigital Times post. Played by actress Lana Parilla (Spin City, Boomtown), Regina also becomes the Evil Queen in the process.
In a teaser for "Once Upon A Time" season 6, the Evil Queen reveals herself to a man in a restaurant. After a brief introduction, she then takes out the poor guy's heart, saying: "The queen is back".
The show's executive producer for "Once Upon A Time" Edward Kitsis said that fans are going to see two separate entities in the form of true good versus pure evil. He further added that Regina would also lay witness to what the Evil Queen can do to put a stop to everyone's happy ending.
The Queen Would Be More Evil Than Ever
EP Adam Horowitz also stated that the Regina-Evil Queen persona would have a considerable impact on all of "Once Upon A Time"'s characters. They had already somehow started it with the demise of Regina's main squeeze Robin Hood during the "Once Upon A Time" season 5 finale. Just a thought.
Even Lana Parilla (Regina/Evil Queen) dropped a few solid hints on what viewers would see of her during season 6 of "Once Upon A Time". Meanwhile, talking about new characters for "Once Upon A Time" season 6, Disney's Alladin and Jasmine are also slated to get cast together with a VIP from Greek mythology, in a related ANN post.
