A 7-week old infant from Ireland said 'hello' to his mother? Yahoo! Parenting reported that a mother from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Toni McCann, quickly uploaded on her Facebook page a video of her newborn son saying "Hello" which instantly became viral on the YouTube after it gained so much attention.
7-week old Cillian seemed to got his mother's talents of being an outgoing talker. McCann said in an interview with Yahoo! Parenting:
"I am a huge talker,"
"Cillian had been trying to communicate for a while, but it really surprised me how clear his 'Hello' was. I'm glad I got it on video, as I'm sure no one would have believed me."
Cillian's extraordinary speaking ability at a very young age is a wonder to many. Daily Mail UK reported that parents normally expect their children to start talking at approximately 1 year and 6 months old. Now, McCann and her husband, Paul, have no worries about their son's speaking skills at a later stage in his life.
Toni was amazed at the above average ability little Cillian had, saying:
"He was trying to speak for a while but that day I knew he was trying to say something."
"I'd read that babies communicate from a young age and to give them space to answer when you talk to them."
"That was I was doing that day and because he was so alert and making such good eye contact I decided to video him. You can tell my total shock when he came out with "hello"."
The Irish mother was just glad that Cillian found a way to spread happiness in his own way, telling Daily Mail UK:
"Some people don't believe it's real, that it's been edited, but on the whole most people love it,"
"That is really lovely for me as there is so much bad in the world it's great that my wee son is spreading some joy."
Although the video depicted Cillian as seemingly say "hello" in response to Toni talking to him, many could swear the infant actually said the a complete word. Cillian saying "hello" was seemingly resounding when the video was nearing its end.
Cillian's mother first uploaded the now viral video on her Facebook profile. From there, many popular FB pages republished the videos. Because of that, the video has gotten countless views. Upon suggestions from friends, McCann shared the video on You Tube, according to ABC 7 Chicago.
