"Pretty Little Liars" Season 7 spoilers reveal that the current season of the Freeform drama may be its last on air. Carter Matt notes on the possibility that the network will cancel the show after seven seasons since the story of A.D. may be close to coming to an end.
It is also a known fact that shows generally become more expensive to produce once it reaches six seasons or more on TV. The "PLL" Season 7 cast, especially the Liars - Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Troian Bellisario) and Alison (Sasha Pieterse) may also be looking to branch out of the series and explore their career in other fields or projects.
However, there is also a possibility that "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7 may be renewed for another season. Many fans thought that the Freeform series would end once the identity of the big A aka Charles DiLaurentis becomes known but the show was able to continue the story through another mystery.
Meanwhile, TVLine notes that series creator I. Marlene King recently teased on the future of Emily-Alison aka "Emison" in "Pretty Little Liars" Season 7 finale. According to the showrunner, there will be "major revelations" for the fan-favorite couple before the show wraps up its current season.
