Should Apple fans be excited about the iPhone 7 release date? New rumors have surfaced claiming that eager users should probably wait until the iPhone 8 gets unveiled because the iPhone 6's successor will most likely look and feel the same as its predecessors.
The Cupertino based tech giant has been in hot water recently after tech junkies have expressed their dismay for the lack of any aesthetic upgrade on their flagship phones. Even before the rumored iPhone 7 release date in September, sources are already claiming that the iPhone 8 launch is the one to watch out for as noteworthy upgrades are sure to be added.
According to Phones Review, rendered designs of the new smartphone feature a squared look instead of its usual rounded edges. The site also speculated that the iPhone 8 launch will most probably feature its first Edgeless phone.
Previous iPhone 7 release date rumors and leaks claimed that Apple has reportedly made "last minute" changes to its newest flagship phone. After three years, the Space Black variant will reportedly be made available once again. The new iPhone will reportedly have five variants- Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Space Gray and the rumored Space Black.
Other iPhone 7 rumors also revealed that the iPhone 7 might be opting out of its 64GB storage option. As some sources hinted, the tech giant might just offer a 32GB entry level model followed by a 128GB midrange and 256GB top end.
9 to 5 Mac noted that the iPhone 7 could also have a new home button that will have waterproof and dustproof capabilities. The site also hinted on that a Smart Connector could be included in the new phone.
