'Dancing With the Stars' 2015 Recap: Demi Moore & Bruce Willis Support Daughter, Rumer

Rumer Willis took her mesmerizing moves to the dance floor while her parents supported her all the way.

People announced that divorced couple, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, were in the audience as their eldest daughter debuted as a contestant in the twentieth season of "Dancing With the Stars."

Rumer's younger sisters, Scout and Tallulah, as well as Bruce's wife, Emma, were also present in the audience. 26-year old Rumer confidently showcased her talents in dancing with her partner, Valentin Chmerkovskiy on the premiere night of the 10-year running dancing competition show.

Proud mom Demi turned to Twitter to proudly express to the world how proud she was of her now grown-up daughter. She tweeted, "Been awhile but my baby girl @TheRue was amazing tonight on #DWTS so proud!"

Meanwhile, Scout gave a shout-out to her sister in a Vine video as reported by The Daily Mail UK: "My baby is gonna win!"

Tallulah also expressed her encouraging words and tweeted: "I am almost speechless. Ru was so good!"

In a chat with E! News upon getting a confirmation that she would be in "DWTS," Rumer shared her mother's reaction on her new gig. She said, "She's just really excited and supportive... I think that's the most important thing that anybody can ask for, is just the support and love from your family."

And, what did dad, Bruce, have to say about her daughter dancing live on national TV? Rumer revealed to E! News, "He was very excited... He's really a softie, which most people don't know but he was excited."

Rumer hoped for only the best performance she could give in "DWTS" to make America proud of her, saying, "It seems like such an amazing opportunity and you really have to work hard and push yourself and I'm constantly looking for opportunities to grow and push myself in different ways."

She added, "This is kind of perfect timing."

"Dancing With the Stars" producers allegedly tried to convince Rumer to give the reality show a shot a few years ago. She was at first hesitant to give dancing a try on live TV.

In an interview with Time magazine, Rumer confessed the reason what made her change her mind. The actress said, "When they asked me a few years ago, I didn't think it was something I would even capable of... But I've been dancing a little bit more so when they asked me this year, I thought, 'What an incredible opportunity to learn how to dance properly from a great teacher.'"
