There is no doubt that following its cliffhanger season finale, many are looking forward to "The Blacklist" Season 4. For those who want to know juicy details about the upcoming season, Megan Boone shares crucial details about her character, Liz in "The Blacklist" series.
'The Blacklist' Season 3 Recap, Will Red Save Liz In Season 4
Just a recap, Liz and Mr. Kaplan (Susan Blommaert) planned Liz's fake death. The new mom wants to live a normal life with his daughter and husband but things get messed when Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) joined the picture.
Red (James Spader) headed to rescue Liz and her family but in the "The Blacklist" season 3 finale, we saw that he was too late. However, many fans are hopeful that Red will eventually get into Liz and save her but their relationship is complicated especially with Kirk announcing that he is Liz's dad.
"I can't imagine him abandoning Liz," "The Blacklist" creator Jon Bokenkamp told Entertainment Weekly. "She hurt him, but we often hurt the people we love. The fact he's been hurt isn't nearly enough for him to walk away."
Bolder And Stronger Liz In 'The Blacklist' Season 4
However, according to Megan Boone, her character will not be playing the damsel in distress in "The Blacklist" Season 4. She teases that she might not need Red to rescue her as she learned how to fight for herself.
"A stronger Liz will suffer the consequences of extricating him from her life, rather than wish for him to rescue her again," Boone told Entertainment Weekly in a separate report. 'That's not to say he won't, just that I think she's become braver and not a damsel in distress. I think she's learned a lot and is able to fight for herself now."
Boone also teased that Liz will continue to trace her relationship with Red but will be looking for others sources. She knows that Red will not give her the answers.
