In "The Walking Dead" Season 7 premiere, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) did not kill Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) with Lucille, but the chatty leader of The Saviors should be afraid in "TWD" S7. Although Rick Grimes is not exchanging Michonne (Danai Gurira) for Lucille's ministrations, "The Walking Dead" Season 7 will cross the Alexandria leader's path with Ezekiel and The Kingdom.

NME reports that AMC released "The Walking Dead" Season 7 posters ahead of the 2016 San Diego Comic Con. "The Walking Dead" Season 7 posters tease the death of Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun), Maggie Greene (Lauren Cohan), Michonne, Rick Grimes, Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Sasha Williams (Sonequa Martin-Green).

However, rather than afraid, each "The Walking Dead" Season 7 poster showed suppressed rage against Negan in the Alexandria survivors. Given how much Rick Grimes and the gang have survived in "The Walking Dead" series, the rage shots were telling of what will hit Negan in "TWD."

Although the "The Walking Dead" Season 7 posters may have been meant to worry "TWD" fans for Rick Grimes and the gang, the worry is now directed for Negan. "The Walking Dead" will not give a fair fight in Season 7 and judging by the "TWD" posters, Negan will not have the upper hand for long.

The Negan of Robert Kirkman's comic books may not be the villain standing over Rick Grimes and the gang at "The Walking Dead" Season 6 finale. Deadline Hollywood cites "The Walking Dead" executive producer Gail Anne Hurd in stating that reliance on the Robert Kirkman comic books will be occasional and "TWD" on AMC will bring in as many original stories.

While Negan should worry for his life, "The Walking Dead" Season 7 will also bring in Ezekiel and The Kingdom in "TWD" S7. Refinery29 cites an interview between Entertainment Weekly and executive producer Greg Nicotero, which says new characters will amble into the frame in "The Walking Dead" Season 7.

The introduction of Ezekiel and The Kingdom along with Jennie and Naomi, may eclipse the reign of terror by Negan in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. While Negan has a baseball bat, Ezekiel has a pet tiger so a showdown in Season 7 of "The Walking Dead" is quite likely.
"The Walking Dead" Season 7 premiere air date on AMC is Oct. 9. Who do you think will fans root for among Rick Grimes, Negan, Ezekiel and Daryl Dixon in "The Walking Dead" Season 7?
