Miranda Kerr is engaged! She said yes to Evan Spiegel after dating for a year. The Snapchat cofounder and CEO went down on his knees and said "Marry Me."
In an Instagram photo, the 33-year-old supermodel, announced the happy news on Wednesday, July 20. Miranda Kerr added a custom Snapchat filter. "I said yes!!!" she captioned the pic. The picture also displayed her large diamond ring. It had a very cute Bitmoji cartoon depiction of the proposal and the words "Marry Me!"
Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel started dating in June 2015. The couple decided to take a step ahead in their relationship when they bought a mansion which is worth $12 million. The mansion was in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The Australian beauty revealed that she had met Spiegel at a dinner in Los Angeles for Louis Vuitton. "We were really good friends for a long time before we started dating," she told The Sydney Morning Herald.
Rumors were already ablaze that Evan was ready to propose to Miranda. They are both completely smitten, and Evan's starting to look at rings," a source told US Magazine.
There are reports that the couple is all set to marry in style. They are planning a very extravagant affair and it would reflect Evan's style in true sense. This will be one of the things that Miranda won't mind at all.
Miranda Kerr is definitely smitten by Evan Spiegel. "He's 25, but acts like he's 50," she said. "He's not out partying. He goes to work in [L.A.'s] Venice. He comes home. We don't go out. We'd rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed early," the super model gushed.
This would be Miranda Kerr's second marriage. She was formerly married to Orlando Bloom with whom she shares a 5-year-old son, Flynn. They were married from 2010 to 2013, reported US Magazine.
Upon their split, Miranda was very particular and established few relationship rules with Orlando Bloom. It was mutually decided that they have to meet a person and know each other for at least 6 months before introducing them to Flynn.
"Evan met Flynn, so, yeah, things are going well. Orlando thinks he's great. We're just a modern family now!"
A grand wedding is on cards. We wish the couple good luck!
