The anticipation of fans on the release of "Attack on Titan" Season 2 has been building up for some time. Recent reports though have indicated that "A.O.T" Season 2 will be finally released on the last quarter of 2016 that is if everything goes according to their plans.
"Attack on Titan" Season 2 will mostly follow the manga series, hence the delay of the second season. And if "Attack on Titan" follows the manga series, the second season will be bloodier than ever as there will be more Clash of Titans.

"Attack on Titan" Season 2 will begin in Krista's identity and how she belongs to the royal Reiss family. Commander Smith will bring an uprising to overthrow the corrupt King but soon it will be found that the Reiss family is the one who is in control and not the King. The second season will also reveal that Krista is the rightful heir of the clan and may become the ruler of the walls.
'Attack on Titan' Season 2 Reveals Death of Major Characters
Reports that "Attack on Titan" Season 2 will follow the manga series also led to the conclusion of a big battle between Rogue Titan and Armored Titan, which are believed to be friends. There will also be deaths for some of the major characters and fan favorites of the series.
Parent Herald indicated that once Rogue Titan and Armored Titan fights, one of them will permanently fall in "Attack on Titan" Season 2. Another character that is rumored to die is Levi Ackerman who is a favorite in Season 1.
'Attack on Titan' Season 2 ongoing Production
It has been three years since news about "Attack on Titan" Season 2 was reported. But according to The Bitbag, the manga series which it follows is almost 60 percent finish. This means that the production is following suit as "A.O.T" has already provided viewers a sneak peak of its second season last year.
If everything goes according to plan, viewers may be able to watch "Attack on Titan" Season 2 on the fourth quarter of this year or even on the first quarter of 2017. We will just have to wait a little bit more.
