If you’re looking for kids’ birthday party ideas, then Hilary Duff is the best person to turn to! An article in People reported that the actress threw a birthday party for her son Luca on Friday. Luca turned 3 years old last week and Hilary posted an adorable collection of photos from the party on her Instagram profile.
The actress captioned the photo collection with the following message: "3 years buddy! 3 beautiful years! You make every minute worth while! We cherish all your firsts and all that is to come, Happy 3rd birthday my love #timesflying #whatayear."
Duff, who recently dyed her hair into mermaid blue at West Hollywood's Nine Zero One Salon, said that the new 'do comes just in time for little Luca's birthday!
The actress posted a photo on social media to show her new cool hairdo, captioning it as: "@Ambahhh turned me into a mermaid last night ... love all u girls @riawnacapri @nikkilee901 @ninezeroone."
Dad, Mike Comrie, joined the actress and their son in the Filipagram photos posted on Instagram. The three were pictured surrounded by the sun and snow like a happy family. Duff, Comrie and their son's images were depicted in a carousel background.
Comrie and Duff separated on January 2014, after having been married for five years. Duff filed for divorce from Comrie just last month.
In addition to these photos, The Daily Mail UK reported that the three were also seemn in videos out on a winter vacation and Christmas celebrations. These videos were made with Ray Lamontagne's song, "You Are The Best Thing," playing in the background, according to Refinery 29.
The happy pictures and homemade videos are signs of good co-parenting relationship between the former Disney star and her NHL player husband. Duff revealed in an interview in Cosmopolitan's April issue the reasons behind her marriage's dissolution. She said, "Mike and I were very in love when we met. We both really wanted to get married... Maybe it wasn't [the best decision], but we spent the majority of our time together really happy."
The actress openly announced her own insights about marriage, saying, "I don't know if people are meant to be together forever. Things happen over a long relationship that you can't always fight. I just always want to fight for happiness."
