Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi Divorce: Couple Hits ‘Crisis Point,’ Breakup Expected Before 8th Anniversary?

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi divorce rumors are heating up online. A recent report suggests that the couple may not make it to their 8th wedding anniversary because their relationship has allegedly hit a crisis point. Are they headed for a divorce or can they still make their marriage work?

Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi have allegedly hit rock bottom when it comes to their relationship. An insider told In Touch that the 58-year-old talk show host is allegedly insecure and controlling, reports Gossip Cop.

DeGeneres reportedly feels insecure that the "Scandal" actress will leave her for another man. De Rossi, on the other hand, feels jealous of DeGeneres' friend, Kate McKinnon since these two have allegedly been flirting with each other.

"Their marriage has been falling apart," an insider shared. "They love each other but it's not a healthy relationship."

The insider notes that DeGeneres and de Rossi may no longer make it to their 8th wedding anniversary on Aug. 16. de Rossi allegedly wanted to become pregnant and carry her own child, but DeGeneres does not think she will be able to go through with the pregnancy.

It can be remembered, however, that DeGeneres and de Rossi were both vocal about their plans to not have their own children. In an earlier interview, NZ Herald notes that DeGeneres and de Rossi both considered this idea in the past but later on decided to keep their relationship to themselves.

"We talked about it for a minute," she said. "About four years into the relationship, but we just decided we like our conversations not being interrupted and our furniture without sticky grape juice on it."

The "Finding Dory" star also said that it can be hard to have children in their profession. DeGeneres said that being under the spotlight meant that she would have to share her time with the public aside from giving time for their children.
