Victoria's Secret angel Marisa Miller is a proud new mom. The 34-year-old model and husband, music producer Griffin Guess welcomed their first child, a baby boy Thursday.
The overjoyed new mom confirmed the news to People magazine.
"I'm completely overjoyed by the birth of our son. I feel so blessed to be a mom and am so excited to experience this next part of life," Miller said.
The new arrival weighed 8 pounds and 10 ounces at birth. Miller, who used to run a surf school in California before her modeling career, married Guess in 2006. Miller and Guess have named their newborn Gavin Lee Guess.
The supermodel, who was very particular in maintaining a slim figure was least bothered about the changes pregnancy brought in her.
"Even though I'm exhausted, gaining weight and breaking out from all the hormones, I'm really enjoying my pregnancy," she told People magazine after confirming the pregnancy. "It's all for the baby so I couldn't care less!."
Recently, days before giving birth, Miller proudly flaunted her growing baby bump in front of the camera, by posing nude for Allure magazine.
Miller, who started modeling at the age of 16, received wide attention after her appearance in the first issue of the magazine Perfect 10 in 1997. She rose to fame after working as a Victoria's Secret agent. She has appeared in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues from 2002 to 2008.
