"No Man's Sky" is on the verge of its launch. It has been confirmed now that the game will not require players to first have PlayStation Plus on the PlayStation 4.
"No Man's Sky" is all set to launch in August 2015. A recent video series was released which shows that the game is broken down into four major tenets. There are many questions revolving around how the game can actually be played. Many are wondering if the game would require an online subscription such as PlayStation Plus in order to access the online portion of the title.
The Australian Game Informer Editor, David Milner, confirmed on Twitter that this will not be required. PlayStation Plus won't be a requirement when the game launches in a few weeks.
While "No Man's Sky" has an online component but it doesn't feature multiplayer in the traditional sense. The players can explore the universe offline and the world is randomly created from the game's code.
"No Man's Sky" has a lot of features which includes tracking the players and also utilizing the Atlas. If a player finds a new planet, plant or a life form, it can be uploaded onto the Atlas. This will act as an information repository for all the players, reported Game Rant.
"No Man's Sky" will be the first game which does not need an online subscription to play it online! The release date for the game is still not announced. The team behind the creation of the game are now working non-stop to make the title even more enticing, reported Game Informer.
