'Teen Wolf' Season 6 News & Update: Dylan O'Brien Responsible For The Cancellation? Final Season To Include More Villains, Stiles Next Target

There is no doubt that "Teen Wolf" is among the popular TV series on MTV. Unfortunately, to the shock of many, the network is cancelling the series and "Teen Wolf" Season 6 would be the last.

Dylan O'Brien Responsible For 'Teen Wolf' Cancellation

There is no doubt that many are disappointed with the recent cancellation of good shows on the small screens, regardless of the network. "Limitless," "Penny Dreadful," and "The Vampire Diaries" are all cancelled and "Teen Wolf" proves vulnerable to the same fate.

In the recent San Diego Comic-Con, the "Teen Wolf" production confirmed that season 6 will be the final season of the popular series. "Teen Wolf" creator Jeff Davis told TV Line that they just agreed for a total of 100 episodes and this will be the finale in "Teen Wolf" season 6.

Although the "Teen Wolf" cast and crew admitted that they are all happy with "Teen Wolf" Season 6 culminating the series, other sources claimed that the cancellation was due Dylan O'Brien. Per the Bitbag, the fan-favorite actor causes the delay of "Teen Wolf" Season 6 due to his injury while filming "The Maze Runner 3." It didn't actually explain O'Brien's absence and influence in axing the show.

However, some sources claimed that maybe Davis just wants to hit the 100 episodes and give "Teen Wolf" fans a great ending. At least, in this way, they can have their own ending, instead of stretching the series until the network cancels it.

'Teen Wolf' Season 6 Will Have New Villains With Stiles Being The Target

According to Christian Post, there will be new villains in "Teen Wolf" Season 6 and Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) is in danger. The Ghost Riders is one of the villains in the upcoming season and they reportedly erase one's memory.

Things will be tough for Scott and Stiles as the Ghost Riders target Stiles to be their next victim in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. Parent Herald previously reported that Stiles is a significant figure in "Teen Wolf" Season 6.

"Stiles is a big part of the season because a lot of this season's mystery revolves around him," Davis told Entertainment Weekly. What do you think will be the plot in "Teen Wolf" Season 6 that needs Stiles so badly? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.

"Teen Wolf" Season 6 returns on Nov. 15 on MTV.
