LeBron James is the biggest name last NBA season after delivering a championship to Cleveland Cavaliers. However, Cavs fight against the Golden State Warriors with James might not be long-lived because according to reports James will play with his Miami Heat buddy Dwayne Wade for Chicago Bulls next year.
LeBron James And Dwayne Wade's NBA History
LeBron James and Dwayne Wade both played for Miami Heat but prior to that they were among the top-five picks in the 2003 NBA draft, which eventually landed them to Heat. They went to the Finals four times together and won twice. Most importantly, their friendship goes beyond their bond on the basketball court that's why they will always be linked, per the Washington Post.
There were no goodbyes for their friendship. In fact, Dwayne Wade praised his pal LeBron James on his championship with the Cavaliers in the last NBA season. "Salute to my brother @KingJames .. 3x Champion!!! #Brotherhood," he wrote on his social account.
LeBron James And Dwayne Wade To Sign With Chicago Bulls in 2017
On a side note, veteran Chicago sportswriter Sam Smith predicted that LeBron James and Dwayne Wade will play together for Chicago Bulls in the next NBA season Wade will be a draw for free agent next season and so is James and Bulls have enough room for free agents.
"LeBron will be a free agent after next season, and, hey can I start that one now," Smith wrote per NBA.com "LeBron gets Cleveland its title; he's now free to leave and rejoin his buddy Wade in Chicago where they could have gone in 2010 and now the Bulls have a young core and Butler to support them as they play out their careers in the biggest city they've played in. Wade and LeBron together again in a major media market. Hey, you can't say no to anything in this NBA."
