MacBook Pro fans do not have to wait until next year to get their hands on the latest MacBook Pro 2016 as reports indicate that the new laptop will come this year. Latest reports have also indicated Skylake will be more involved with its internal specs.
MacBook Pro 2016 Design
Recent reports have indicated that the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 will be slimmer and lighter which may indicate that the MacBook Air 11 inch and 13 inch may be discontinued. The new lineup for MacBook Pro 2016 will include screen sizes of 13 and 15 inches with high-resolution Retina displays.
According to Apple Insider, Apple was aiming for a mid-year release for its MacBook Pro 2016 but had to hold out a bit longer as the company wanted some drastic design changes. The new MacBook pro according to some analysts will be thinner and lighter compared to its older models.
MacBook Pro 2016 Internal Specs
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo noted that when it comes to MacBook Pro 2016 internal Specs, the new laptop is expected to have an OLED touchbar that can replace MacBook pro's physical function key row. The new MacBook Pro will also be integrated with Apple's Touch ID Fingerprint recognition technology.
Other notable features of the MacBook Pro 2016 will include Intel's Skylake technology that will boost the speed of the CPU and will help in saving batter. Skylake also offers wireless charging for its products but there is still no confirmation if the new laptop would have that. The new MacBook pro may also have USB-C ports since Apple already adopted the new USB-C connector to all of its 12-inch MacBook.
MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date
While Apple has continually guarded the release date of the new MacBook Pro 2016 as a top secret, industry experts revealed that the possible release date for the upcoming laptop will be in the fourth quarter of this year, possibly on Christmas. Apple has made the necessary promotions and discounts for its somehow older models which indicate that the tech giant is preparing for the release of a newer model.
