American Idol camp and new mom, Carrie Underwood, looked good in her slim figure Just over a month after having given birth. The singer and her husband, Mike Fisher, had son, Isaiah, on February 27.
Country Fan Cast reported that Underwood revealed the secrets behind her fast healthy weight loss after having a baby. Underwood let fans in on these secrets in an interview with Shape magazine.
Underwood confessed that her daily fitness routine included hiking trips and workouts with her NHL player husband, Mike. The health-conscious musician admitted that she's had a trainer travel with her. Her trainer gives her work out sessions on-the-go, whenever there is sufficient space to exercise while on travel.
WebMD.com revealed that Underwood attributed much of her healthy physique from eating right. The singer admitted to being a vegetarian even before she had her first child. Underwood said, "It would be very easy to just go eat that all the time. But if I don't know what's in it, I don't eat it. That's my rule."
Whenever hunger strikes, she snacks on oatmeal and yogurt while on tour and actually goes shopping for healthy snacks ahead of time before she travels.
Underwood shared the wonderful experiences she's got out of eating and living healthy, saying, "I've become a wonderful microwave expert in my years of travel."
She added, "People say, 'I don't have time -- I just grab a hot dog on the street'. I know better. It takes about five minutes to make a sandwich to take with you someplace."
Underwood currently has a new fitness wardrobe collection out in the market called, "CALIA by Carrie Underwood," as reported in Shape magazine. Dick's Sporting Goods is the official distributor of the singer's wardrobe collection.
A busy 2015 has passed in Underwood's life. After having become a mom for the first time, the "American Idol" alum is back to musical performances and touring. In fact, Underwood is planning to get a child-friendly tour bus soon as she intends to take her infant son with her on tour for additional quality time with him. In addition to her career, motherhood is on Underwood's top list of priorities.
In a recent article in Unreality TV, it was alleged that the new mom plans on writing songs about her new born son in her new album. The album will be the singer's fifth album to date since winning "American Idol" in 2005.
