MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 are among the anticipated laptops today. In fact, Apple fans have been waiting for these computers since the first quarter of the year. For those hoping for a very powerful MacBook Pro, new reports suggest that it might not be what we expected.
MacBook Pro 2016 A Very Powerful Laptop
Apple fans can't wait for the arrival of MacBook Pro 2016 that even before it arrives, there are already tons of speculations about its specs and features. In fact, earlier reports suggest that the upcoming MacBook Pro will sport an OLED display and LTE connectivity.
Parent Herald previously reported that there are leaked photos of the alleged MacBook Pro 2016 sporting an OLED display. Someone who claimed to be working from Apple's manufacturing partner in China sent some photos to Cult of Mac and based on the photos MacBook Pro will have an OLED panel above the keyboard.
In a separate report from Parent Herald, some sources claimed that MacBook Pro 2016 will feature LTE connectivity. If this is true, then the upcoming Apple flagship laptop will be the first computer to offer the cellular connectivity and it will no longer rely on the Wi-Fi connection to go online.
MacBook Pro 2016 Minus LTE And OLED Bar
There is no doubt that many are hoping that the Cupertino-based tech giant is indeed working on those features. However, to spare you from disappointment the Next Web warns everyone that MacBook Pro 2016 might not be what we hear about it. Per the report, some features are possible while the others are not doable at the time.
Aside from the LTE connectivity and OLED bar, there are rumors that MacBook Pro 2016 will include a USB-C port, Touch ID and NFC features, and wireless connectivity. However, per the report, an OLED bar is impossible citing some people familiar with Apple's plans who just reportedly laugh about the said feature.
Per the report, Apple will keep MacBook Pro 2016 simple, adding OLED bar is "through the roof" and repair will be expensive. In addition, the report notes that adding an LTE feature is unlikely because it will fragment the full feature of Apple tethering and connectivity with the device. It will make "buy every Apple device" useless.
Do you agree that Apple will not feature LTE connectivity and OLED bar in MacBook Pro 2016? Do you agree that these features are unnecessary? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
