Rumours have been circulating that French Midfielder Paul Pogba will be leaving his current team, Juventus F.C., to move to the Barclays Premiere League where he will play for his former English side, Manchester United, in a record setting £112 million transfer.
The young Juventus midfielder was in Las Vegas, where he spent his last few days of the summer before flying back to Europe, when he was asked by Andy Burton of the Sky Sports News HQ whether or not the deal was close to being done, Pogba's only reply was "We'll see".
The £112 million transfer for Paul Pogba from Juventus to Manchester United would mark the highest transfer fee paid for any football player in the history of the sport, breaking the previous record set by the transfer of Welsh football player Gareth Bale from the Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid in 2013 for an estimated £100 million.
Manchester United still has not release any news regarding the finalization of the transfer though the players of the team are thrilled to have the 23 year old Frenchman back at Old Trafford. Manchester United team captain Wayne Rooney in an interview with the Daily Mail had this to say about Pogba: ''I hope he is going to want to return to United and prove he's a top-class player. If he is excited to play for us, we'll be excited to have him back."
Paul Pogba played for Manchester United until he moved to Juventus F.C. on a free transfer because he wasn't given enough first string opportunities, according to Express. After four seasons with the Italian team, he has become one of the world's most sought-after midfielders, with offers from La Liga heavyweights Barcelona FC and Real Madrid, as well as Barclays Premier League contenders Chelsea and Manchester City.
Paul Pogba currently has won 4 Italian Serie A titles with Juventus F.C. since joining the club in 2012.
