'American Horror Story' Season 6 Latest News & Spoilers: Creepy 'Croatoan' Plots Hunt 'AHS' Cast; Lady Gaga Confirms Her Role

"American Horror Story" Season 6 will be creepier than ever as previous reports indicate that the new storylines will be darker. The sixth installment to "AHS" will have a CROATOAN theme.

TMZ reported that the word "CROATOAN" came from the mystery of Roanoke. If you studied your history right, you might remember the incident of the 117 people who just vanished in the 1590 North Carolina colony then you will know that "American Horror Story" Season 6 will really be creepy. The only clue to the disappearance of the people was the word "CROATOAN" carved into bark.

"American Horror Story" Season 6 will mostly revolve around the mystery of the Roanoke Colony disappearance. So would this mean, people will also be disappearing on "AHS?"

The mystery disappearance of the 118 people have always been baffling for those who know the history behind it. Some argue that the word "CROATOAN" carved into a bark is just their way of saying that the colony moved to Croatoan island. However, some say that the colony didn't move but they just simply disappeared and that there is more mystery to what happened.

FX CEO John Landgraf talked about "American Horror Story" Season 6 and discussed "AHS" possibly plots. He said that the sixth season will be set into two time periods but will still be mostly set in the present time just like "Once Upon A Time."

The new set for "American Horror Story" Season 6 will center on a colonial-era farm where Lady Gaga may join in. Speaking of Lady Gaga, she has confirmed that she will be joining "AHS" although there is still no news about the other casts on whether they will be joining for "American Horror Story" season 6.
