"Dragon Ball Super" fans are all excited about the upcoming episode, with Goku Black's presence seemingly implying total destruction for the multi-verse. Although Black Goku could be the ultimate bad guy, there may be a solid backstory regarding his connection to Son Goku.
In a sneak preview for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 54, Trunks is getting ready to battle Goku Black. He is also keeping close watch of his sparring moves with Vegeta, who seemed pretty impatient wanting to encounter Goku Black again soon, says MNG.
Another attempt to win against Goku Black, and the heroes are getting a bit anxious about losing as the new adversary somehow is undefeated in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 54 preview. The voice talent behind Trunks also shared that winning against Goku Black may include some sacrificial choices in the future.
Goku Black is Zamasu?
Takeshi Kusao aka Trunks in "Dragon Ball Super" said that with Goku Black proving to be more than a huge adversary for the heroes, there's a slim chance of winning against him. It's also rather unfortunate that there seems to be no additional clue as to his real identity.
Many theories for "Dragon Ball Super" have been circulating in regard to who Goku Black really is, with some saying he could be Zamasu because of the same energy field surrounding him. If that's true, then Trunks and the rest need to step up their game and wits during upcoming battles against Goku Black, as Zamasu had a known history of destroying many universes already.

So, Zamasu's name has been associated with his enormous hatred for mankind and whoever gets in his way is shown no mercy in "Dragon Ball Super," according to Saiyan Island. Sounds familiar, right?
Bandai Namco recently shared some artwork that showed Goku Black in his Super Saiyan form, although this side of him hasn't been revealed in "Dragon Ball Super" episodes yet. So far, there's no confirmation as to when this transformation would be shown in newer "Dragon Ball Super" episodes. Stay tuned for the latest in "Dragon Ball Super," which would air on August 7th.
