'Burn Notice' Star Jeffrey Donovan Welcomes First Child

Actor Jeffrey Donovan is a proud new dad.

The 44-year-old actor and wife Michelle welcomed their first child recently, a baby girl. The couple confirmed the news to People magazine.

"She is a healthy and happy baby girl, and we are incredibly blessed to have her in our lives," the couple told People magazine in a statement.

Other details of the new addition, like weight or name, are yet to be revealed.

Gabrielle Anwar, co-star of Donovan on USA Network's "Burn Notice" confirmed the news, saying that the newborn is bringing remarkable changes in her co-star's behavior.

"He recently got married and I believe his wife had a baby within the last week as far as I know," Anwar told Celebuzz. "So, I think he's changed considerably from the young party boy that I met during the pilot."

Donovan, who is well-known for his roles in films like "Hitch" and "Believe in Me", got engaged to actress/model Michelle Woods in August 2011. The couple tied the knot a year later in August.

Donovan, who started acting during his school-days, plays the lead character Michael Westen on " Burn Notice". He is also popular for his role as Robert F. Kennedy in the 2011 American biographical drama film "J. Edgar", directed by Clint Eastwood.
