There is no doubt that Oklahoma City Thunder is doing their best to build their team. After losing Kevin Durant to the Golden State Warriors, the team needs a great player to pair with Russell Westbrook who is still staying with the team for another year. Reports have it that OKC wants Los Angeles Clippers Blake Griffin.
Blake Griffin is one of the favorites in the NBA trade rumors. Several teams want the Clippers' power forward to join them on their roster. According to Inquisitr, Griffin could potentially land to Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic or Chicago Bulls.
However, it seemed that Blake Griffin's choice is getting shorter. Parent Herald previously reported that Bulls is willing to trade Taj Gibson and Nikola Mirotic for Griffin but things have changed.
Some sources claimed that Chicago Bulls was considering Blake Griffin when they teased that they will be signing a strong player in their roster. However, according to a report, it turned out that the player Bulls was talking about was the former Miami Heat shooting guard Dwayne Wade.
Well, there are still so many doors for Blake Griffin. According to Basketball Real GM, OKC is eyeing to add Griffin to their team to pair with Russell Westbrook. Everyone knows that the Thunder had a huge loss after Kevin Durant turned his back from the team to join the super team, Golden State Warriors.
NBA fans knew that Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook have successful years together as they play for Thunder. However, per Inquisitr, both demand basketball often. The report suggests that Blake Griffin is potentially a better partner for Russell Westbrook than Durant was.
Per the reports, Clippers will have to contend with the free agencies for both Blake Griffin and Chris Paul in 2017. Griffin is a native of Oklahoma, thus, we might see him with the Thunder soon.
