Oklahoma City Thunder is working on strengthening its team after Kevin Durant left them to join the Golden State Warriors. Luckily, their other superstar player, Russell Westbrook is staying and what other treats could OKC give to Russell than to bring him great playmates in the upcoming NBA season?
Parent Herald previously reported that OKC Thunder wants to acquire Gordon Hayward and Paul Millsap. Yes, the Utah Jazz small forward and Atlanta Hawks forward are not as talented as Kevin Durant but the pair is a potential replacement for the huge loss Kevin Durant left in Thunder.
Inquisitr suggested that Gordon Hayward is a great all-around player and at this point in his career, the Jazz small forward and shooting guard could already be considered a star. Hayward is in his prime, averaging 19.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists in every game in 2015 to 2016.
Also, adding Hayward to OKC Thunder will upgrade the team's small forward position and would make Thunder a strong contender in the Western Conference in the upcoming NBA season. With OKC sporting a stronger roster, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook's battle in the basketball court is something that fans should look forward to in the next NBA season.
Meanwhile, the report added that Utah Jazz and OKC Thunder can go for a trade revolving, Enes Kanter. The Thunder center is great at offense and would make a good addition to Jazz.
The report added that the Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert is great at what he does but is more on the defensive. Adding Enes Kanter to Jazz will compliment Gobert because the former is more of a scoring weapon.
The said trade will also reunite Enes Kanter with Utah Jazz. Kanter plays for the team from 2011 to 2015 and they have a smooth run, so the transition is expected to be easy and smooth.
Do you agree that getting Gordon Hayward will strengthen OKC Thunder? Do you agree that Enes Kanter should return to Utah Jazz and play with Rudy Gobert? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
