As the "Pokemon Go" mania continues to grow everyday, many aspiring "Pokemon" trainers have looked for numerous way to speed up their process in the game. Now comes a new app for players to easily locate "Pokestops" and "Pokemon Gyms", called the "PokemonGoMap"
According to Tech Crunch, "Pokemon Go" has been downloaded around 7 million times in the US, with the number of downloads only growing, as the app reaches farther parts of the world. With millions of users frantically searching for even the smallest advantage.
One of the most important aspects of "Pokemon Go", other than catching "Pokemon" of course, are "Pokestops". If you are new to the game, these little parts of the map are locations where you can acquire useful items such as "Pokeballs", potions, and eggs among other items that will come in handy throughout a player's progression.
In comes the new app called "PokemonGoMap". Now players of "Pokemon Go" no longer have to walk around aimlessly to search for "Pokestops" and "Pokemon Gyms", the app gives users the ability to pinpoint over 2.3 million "Pokestops" and "Pokemon Gyms", and even show the ones which are placed there by mistake, according to MobiPicker.
"PokemonGoMap" can be easily accessed, simply by opening any web browser and then enter the website. All "Pokemon Go" players have to do is sign in using their Gmail accounts, scan the area they want to venture and upload it to the map, and the app will automatically give the locations of the "Pokestops" and "Pokemon Gyms"
Apps like "PokemonGoMap" are becoming increasingly helpful, ever since Niantic opted to remove third party apps from "Pokemon Go", and giving users a tougher time finding "Pokemon" and "Pokestops".
Recently, "Pokemon Go" has been banned in Iran because of security concerns, ranging from players walking into restricted areas, such as military bases, according to GameSpot.
