He allegedly used a DJ's photo to attract potential partners for his "Ashley Madison" account. ET Online reports that Matt McCarthy, a DJ and a photographer filed a lawsuit against the "19 Kids and Counting" star. The LA-based DJ stated that Josh Duggar's action led to McCarthy being harassed.

The DJ mentioned that he is being referred to as Josh Duggar's "boy toy" as people would refer to his as "DJ Duggar," which eventually affected his career. Matt McCarthy firmly stated that he was raised in a Christian household, which affected his character.

The lawsuit led to Matt McCarthy's request for monetary compensation as his income was negatively affected by the scandal. He also mentioned that Josh Duggar's photo use also risked his safety and placed his reputation down the drain.

According to News on 6, the Ashley Madison account users that were hacked sought help from the ProfileDefenders.com. Though the website is helping repair the damaged reputation of their clients, Josh Duggar, on the other hand, may need all the help he can get.
