Demi Frendsen has lost her infant son, Leo, after suffering from a rare and congenital disease. He only survived 10 months before succumbing to his condition. But in desiring to leave a legacy for her baby, his mother decided to continue pumping breastmilk until she had 131 gallons.
The mom pledged the breastmilk to the Children's Hospital in Nebraska. She did this despite being in mourning because she wanted to do something for other babies in honor of Leo. Her heroic act is said to be the largest breastmilk donation that the hospital has received. Watch her touching story in the video below.
