"Prison Break" Season 5 brings the Burrows brothers again. And we were just beginning to miss them! The series has taken the essence of its original storyline and built the "Prison Break" Season 5 around it.
"Prison Break" Season 5 will bring the brothers back together again - in a prison! Now, we know that Michael is alive and well behind bars. Will his brother risk-it-all to bring him back?
No prizes for guessing that Michael would be behind bars when the season opens. The series has not deviated from the original plot line and the resurrected hero should once again jump the walls in "Prison Break" Season 5.
The new trailer of "Prison Break" Season 5 shows that Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) is handed an image of Michael by 'T-Bag.' The fans of the series will instantly recognize him as Theodore Bagwell, portrayed by Robert Knepper. He reveals that there is a chance that Michael is alive. This is how the "Prison Break" Season 5 opens, reported Mirror.
The trailer also reveals that Sara takes up a new beginning for the sake of her son. Will Michael's return change things for Sara and his son in "Prison Break" Season 5? We do not know this for sure, reported People.
"I know you want it to be true... I want it to be true. But we've got to trust what we know," Sara tells in the trailer to Lincoln, not quite believing the fact that Michael is alive. How will Sara deal with Michael's return? Is she still in love with him?
"Prison Break" Season 5 promises to bridge the gap in the story that was left off after season 4. The resurrection of Michael will be explained when the series returns. The trailer further shows what Lincoln decides. He goes to prison and meet Michael face-to-face.
"All the people you loved from the original Prison Break play a significant role in helping Michael" escape, and Dominic Purcell adds that the revival "is going to better than the original, " said executive producer Dawn Olmstead.
"Prison Break" Season 5 is set to return to FOX in 2017. It was questioned whether the series will open stating that Michael's death was fake. The show makers dismissed this plot line and stated that Michael's return is convincing enough but it is not yet known when U.K. viewers will get a slice of the prison-based show.
"I would describe it as a bit of a sequel. It picks up with the characters several years after we left them in the show," Fox TV boss Dana Walden said. "There will be a logical and believable explanation to why the characters are alive and still moving around the worl.d"
