It's a Boy for 'The Killing' Star Eric Ladin

Eric Ladin is a new dad.

"The Killing" actor and his wife Katy welcomed a baby boy in Los Angeles on Dec.21. The 34-year-old actor announced the news on Twitter.

"Wow! The last 24 hrs have been the best of my life. Forever changed, I am now a father. Maxfield David Ladin," Ladin wrote, Dec. 22 after sharing his son's photo with his Twitter followers.

Ladin's fans and well-wishers welcomed the happy news and congratulated the new dad over the baby's arrival.

"merry Christmas and congrats. beyond!" one of the fans, wrote.

The overjoyed father later thanked his fans. "Katy & I are loving all the well wishes. Thank You!! We are #BEYOND excited!" he wrote.

Later he posted a picture of his little cute son resting in his hands, watching a football game. "2 days old, but never too young to start watching football," the new dad wrote.

Ladin and fashion designer/stylist Katy announced that they were expecting in May.

"Katy and I couldn't be happier, we have always wanted to be parents," Ladin told People magazine.

Apart from "The Killing," Ladin has appeared on AMC's "Mad Men" and HBO's "Generation Kill." He has also acted in some films, including "Toolbox Murders," "Left in Darkness," and "Cursed." He has given voice to characters in video games, including voice of Ellis in "Left 4 Dead 2," and Cole MacGrath in "Infamous."
